Privacy Policy — Drive100

Last updated: January 11, 2026

Drive100 (“the App”) is developed and provided by YingHan Gao (“we”, “us”, or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.

Drive100 is designed with privacy in mind. The App does not require account creation, does not operate its own backend servers, and does not directly collect or store personal data for its own purposes. Certain third-party services integrated into the App (such as advertising and subscription services) may process limited data as described below.

By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Do Not Collect Directly

We do not directly collect, store, or transmit personally identifiable information to our own servers for our own use.

In particular:

  • We do not require account registration or login
  • We do not ask for names, email addresses, phone numbers, or contact details
  • We do not create user profiles or store cloud-based user data
  • We do not collect learning behavior or progress data on our servers

While Drive100 does not operate its own backend servers or transmit data to servers controlled by us, certain data may be transmitted directly from your device to third-party service providers’ servers (such as Google AdMob and RevenueCat) in order to deliver advertisements and validate subscriptions.

2. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

Drive100 stores certain non-personal information locally on your device only to enable core functionality and personalization. This may include:

  • Practice progress and completion status
  • Favorite questions
  • Language preferences
  • Light/Dark theme and appearance settings

This data remains entirely on your device, is not transmitted to us or to any backend server, and is not accessible by us.

You may delete all locally stored data at any time by using the “Reset the application” option in the App’s settings or by uninstalling the App.

3. Third-Party Services

While Drive100 itself does not directly collect personal data, the App integrates third-party services that operate under their own privacy practices.

a. Google AdMob (Advertising)

The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.

AdMob may automatically collect and process certain information for ad delivery, measurement, and (where permitted) personalization. This information may include:

  • Device identifiers (such as advertising IDs)
  • IP address
  • Information related to ad interactions and usage

On iOS, certain advertising-related data (such as the advertising identifier) may be used for cross-app advertising and measurement only if you grant permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt. You can choose whether to allow or deny tracking at any time in your device settings. Limiting or resetting the advertising identifier may reduce personalized advertising but will not necessarily remove ads entirely.

The collection and use of data by Google AdMob are governed by Google’s Privacy Policy:

b. RevenueCat (Subscriptions and Purchases)

The App uses RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions and entitlements

RevenueCat processes data solely to manage and validate subscriptions across supported platforms.

This information may include platform-generated transaction identifiers, subscription status, and app or device identifiers required to validate purchases.

Payment information (such as credit card details) is not handled by us or by RevenueCat. All payments are processed directly by the App Store (Apple) or Google Play, in accordance with their own policies.

RevenueCat’s data handling practices are governed by its Privacy Policy:

4. Advertising and Subscription-Related Data

Advertising and subscription-related data processed by third-party services are used solely to:

  • Display advertisements
  • Measure ad performance
  • Manage subscription entitlements and remove ads when applicable

We do not combine this data with locally stored learning data, and we do not use it to identify individual users.

5. Data Sharing and Selling

We do not sell personal data.

We do not share personal data with third parties for our own marketing or commercial purposes.

Third-party services such as Google AdMob and RevenueCat may process certain data independently in order to provide advertising or subscription-related functionality, in accordance with their own privacy policies. We do not control, access, or receive the data processed by these third-party services.

6. Data Security

Because Drive100 does not operate backend servers or cloud storage for user data, there is no server-side storage of personal information by us.

All locally stored data is protected by your device’s operating system and security mechanisms (such as passcodes or biometric authentication). While no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, this architecture significantly limits the risk of unauthorized access.

7. Children’s Privacy

The App is not specifically directed at children.

Drive100 does not directly collect personal information for its own use from users of any age, including children under 13.

However, third-party services integrated into the App (such as advertising and subscription services) may automatically collect limited data as part of their operation. Parents and guardians are encouraged to review the privacy policies of these third-party services to understand how data is handled.

8. Your Rights and Data Deletion

Because all app-generated data is stored locally on your device, you retain full control over your information at all times.

You may delete all locally stored data — including practice progress, favorites, language preferences, theme settings, and other personalized configurations — by:

  • Using the “Reset the application” option in the App’s settings, or
  • Uninstalling the App from your device

We do not retain any copies of your data once it has been removed from your device.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App, third-party services, or applicable laws.

When updates are made, the revised Privacy Policy will be published at the same location with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
